Vijay qualified in 2010 from Liverpool University Dental School. Following graduation he worked in general dental practice and held hospital posts in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, dealing with Oral medicine, Surgical dentistry and Orthodontics. He has also achieved his Diploma of the Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. His interests lie in surgical and restorative dentistry.

Pranay Patel

Pranay Patel

Pranay qualified in 2010 from Cardiff University dental school. He then went on to work in general dental practice and in an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department. Pranay has achieved his Diploma of the Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Currently he is carrying out an MClindent Prosthodontic course dealing with crowns, dentures, bridges and implant restorations so as to become a specialist in prosthodontics.

Manika Malhotra

Manika qualified from Birmingham University Dental School and works full time at the practice. Following graduation in 2014, she worked in general practice in Dorchester, Dorset and has recently moved to Oxford. She is particularly interested in endodontic and restorative dentistry. Manika has achieved part one of her Diploma of the Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Beyond the clinical environment Manika enjoys rambling in the countryside of the UK, travelling the world and is an avid reader.

Mehul Patel

Mehul qualified from King’s College London University and now works full time at the practice. Following graduation Mehul has worked at a local NHS dental practice and more recently has completed a year working in the Oral and Maxillofacial team in Luton and Dunstable. This post has given Mehul the skills to deal with complex surgical treatments as well as allowing him to be able to identify a number of oral diseases. Mehul is currently in the process of completing his Diploma of the Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Mehul endeavours to provide ethical and high quality dentistry to all his patients. His particular interests lie in oral surgery and periodontal treatment.

Marzyeh Parvizi

Marzyeh qualified in 2010 from Liverpool University dental school. Following graduation having worked in general practice, dental and general hospitals in England and Wales, she has gained a wide range of clinical experience in different fields of dentistry. These include Paediatrics, oral medicine, special care dentistry and maxillofacial surgery. She currently works part time at the practice and also works as a speciality doctor in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the John Radcliffe hospital. She is a member of the Royal college of surgeons of Edinburgh.

Juni Gurung

Juni started her dental degree studying for an Honours degree in Dental Materials at Queen Mary University, London. While there, she developed interests in Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry through her research into air abrasion (dental care without a drill). She went on to attain her dental degree from the Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry, Plymouth. A highlight of her University career was the opportunity to provide dental healthcare in South America, working in resource limited conditions serving less privileged communities. Following graduation, she worked in a busy mixed (NHS and private) practice Aberystwyth, Wales.
Outside of work she enjoys going to the gym and learning about other cultures through travel and food.
 

Imran Bashir

Imran Bashir

Imran qualified with Honours from Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2010. Following graduation he was keen to develop his skills and went on to achieve his Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2012. Having worked in general dental practice in Oxfordshire for a number of years, Imran strives to achieve the best outcomes for each and every patient he treats, and continues to develop professionally at every opportunity. Most recently in 2015, Imran completed a Comprehensive Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry Course, in Harley Street, London.

Outside of dentistry, Imran has a passion for travelling, and has just spent a year fulfilling a lifelong dream of travelling the world, as well as mountaineering in the Himalayas, and summiting a number of 20,000+ ft peaks. This also gave a great opportunity to practice his love of photography.

Will qualified with an Honours degree from The University of Manchester in 2012 and moved to Oxfordshire to complete a vocational training scheme to supplement his clinical skills. Will works at Studental as a:

  • Dental Therapist – Providing NHS and private fillings, tooth whitening and preventative treatments
  • Dental Hygienist – Providing private cosmetic teeth cleaning, NHS periodontal (gum) treatment and oral health advice

He especially enjoys educating patients on improving their oral health through achievable goals and enhancing aesthetics to help create beautiful healthy smiles. Will is keen on running, football and playing the piano.
