Extractions

  • Teeth need to be either extracted or root canal treated, if the nerve of the tooth becomes infected or inflamed. If the tooth is unrestorable, i.e. the tooth has broken or decayed below the bone level a root canal treatment is not possible.
  • Some teeth such as partially erupted wisdom teeth, or teeth with very curved roots may require a specialist oral surgeon to extract the tooth.
