• Dental Implants are a permanent solution to replacing gaps where previous tooth/teeth were. A ‘post’ is made from titanium and implanted into your jawbone, thus it becomes something similar to a ‘root’. This post then has a crown attached to it which is in the shape and colour of your natural teeth
  • They can be used to provide single crowns, fixed bridges or implant retained dentures.
  • They are advantageous in terms of not damaging adjacent teeth, which happens with conventional bridges. They are not susceptible to decay; however patients must still maintain meticulous oral hygiene.
